*Kim sent out test emails about a couple months ago to see if the information we have from 2019 is still good. A lot of these were not answered. Please check your in box and trash folders. We would appreciate a reply. If you haven’t heard from her please reach out to lbbennett@yahoo.com or kab_4_3@yahoo.com.

*Registrations to date: Friday night: 46 classmates + 29 guests; Saturday night: 50 classmates + 31 guests
Friday, July 12, 2024:
*The Booster Club golf tournament will be Friday during the day. We need one more players to fill out a team. Allen is reaching out to a couple people who have expressed interest. If you want to play in the tournament, contact Allen Toole as soon as possible at atoole@ldd.net or 573-382-7713 and let him know if you want to play in the morning or afternoon.
*Friday Susan Richards Barnes is setting up a winery tour for Friday late morning/afternoon. If you are interested in joining this let her know – justsusan13@hotmail.com. Susan is working to finalize the tour agenda. Due to lack of response from Cape area wineries, some from Ste. Genevieve County will be added to the trip. Susan will send the final list (4-5 venues) to Laura and it will be posted on the www.tigers79.com website, along with registration information.
*Friday evening we will gather at The Library in downtown Cape beginning at 6:00 (doors open at 4:00 if you want to start earlier). They will have food available to order and cash bar. Alan Bisher and Gary Schuessler have scheduled a band, The Switch, (Powderly twins, Marty Fowler and Darius Seabaugh), to play Friday night. We hear there may be an invasion of 1980 classmates for this event.
Saturday, July 13, 2024:
*Kelly shared that food will be $40 per person and provided the menu. The cash bar will be the Call option with mixed drinks $10; wine $8/glass; domestic beer $4; soda $2 and a water station will be provided. We will have 10 round table seating 6 and table clothes for those will be $75.00. There will be four people working the bar for a cost of $300. Rather than rent plates and cloth napkins, we will purchase clear plastic plates from Sam’s Club and Laura will provide napkins.

*Lizz & Kelly are working on a memorial display for our classmates who have passed. Laura and Kelly will begin working a slide show for the television screens this week.
*Laura shared an agenda for the evening, especially noting the times for Elementary School photos. There were no changes recommended. A list of the deceased classmates will be printed on the back of the agenda and these will be placed on the tables in plastic stands.
*Ideas were shared for trivia and Pinterest-based reunion games. This is still in progress.
*Kelly met at Laura’s house 6/17/24 to go through the decorations/supplies we have on hand to determine if we need anything else. We believe we have enough and want to use up what we have.
*A short survey will be available at the registration table to help plan for our 50-year reunion.
Next meeting: None SEE YOU ON JULY 12TH & 13TH!
